Shaping Memory by Marcella Hackbardt Exhibition Reception

Marshall University School of Art & Design invites the public to the reception of Shaping Memory, hosted at the Visual Arts Center, during the Downtown Huntington Art Walk.
Marcella Hackbardt combines mixed media installation, photography, and AI-assisted digital imagery to explore aspects of knowledge, perception, and symbolic states. Shaping Memory specifically investigates memory as embodied in domestic objects, creating visual and sensory interpretations of experiences, loving and lost memories, and the mystery of the origin and progression of Alzheimer’s neurodegenerative disease.
