Sheep to Shawl – World Wide Knit in Public Day

Heritage Farm celebrates the fiber arts on World Wide Knit in Public Day!

From the sheep to the shawl, our artisans will demonstrate it all!

Knitters, spinners, and crochet artists get in for just $5 with proof of your needles/fiber to create in public with us! All other guests $8/child $12/adult.

-Card your own wool
-Spin your own wool
-Wool Dyeing
and more!

There will be two competitions: Who can knit the fastest, and Who can drop & wheel spin the longest piece with fiber prizes!

There will also be a morning class on how to knit a dish cloth. There is no extra charge, but participants (must be ages 12+) must call (304) 522-1244 for sign up ahead of time. Participants must bring their own cotton yarn and size 7 or 8 needles.
