DESCRIPTION:Come spend an evening with the Visual Arts Center as we wrap up the 40th Annual Student Juried Exhibition\, juried by Huntington Museum of Art curator\, John Farley. The exhibition is on view in the Birke Art Gallery March 2 – March 26\, 2026. The closing reception will be held on March 26 at 6 PM. \nThe final night:\n– When: March 26 at 6 PM\n– Where: The Birke Art Gallery\n– What: Open galleries\, light snacks\, and an opportunity to meet the creative community. \nJuror Spotlight: This year’s juror is John Farley! After earning his BFA at Marshall University\, Farley returned as an adjunct professor and later served as Gallery Director. Today\, he curates at the Huntington Museum of Art\, bringing his journey full circle to guide the next generation of artists. \nGallery Hours: Monday–Friday\, 10 AM – 4 PM\n927 Third Ave Huntington\, WV\nAll Visual Arts Center galleries are free and open to everyone

The closing reception will be held on March 26 from 6 PM to 8 PM. \nOn the final night:\n• Artist Talk: 5–6 PM\n• Reception: 6–8 PM (light snacks provided) \nBryce Speed\, currently Associate Professor of Art in Painting at the University of Alabama\, has shown his work across the eastern U.S. and Scotland. His work in Memory Fails Me explores the everyday rhythms of home life and the line between private and public spaces through arduously hand-cutting stencils. \nIt’s an evening to enjoy art\, hear directly from the artist\, and connect with the local creative community.\nGallery Hours: Monday–Friday\, 10 AM – 4 PM\n927 Third Ave Huntington\, WV\nAll Visual Arts Center galleries are free and open to everyone.
