DESCRIPTION:Come spend an evening with the Visual Arts Center as we wrap up the 40th Annual Student Juried Exhibition\, juried by Huntington Museum of Art curator\, John Farley. The exhibition is on view in the Birke Art Gallery March 2 – March 26\, 2026. The closing reception will be held on March 26 at 6 PM. \nThe final night:\n– When: March 26 at 6 PM\n– Where: The Birke Art Gallery\n– What: Open galleries\, light snacks\, and an opportunity to meet the creative community. \nJuror Spotlight: This year’s juror is John Farley! After earning his BFA at Marshall University\, Farley returned as an adjunct professor and later served as Gallery Director. Today\, he curates at the Huntington Museum of Art\, bringing his journey full circle to guide the next generation of artists. \nAll Visual Arts Center galleries are free and open to everyone

In this interactive tasting\, led by Mike McCarthy CSW\, we’ll break down Bordeaux blends into their individual components—sampling wines made from Sauvignon Blanc\, Sémillon\, Merlot\, and more—before tasting the finished blend. It’s a chance to train your palate\, spot familiar flavors\, and discover what blending adds that no single grape can achieve on its own. You might be surprised by what you find in the glass. Tickets are $35 per person.
