DESCRIPTION:The Huntington Children’s Museum is thrilled to offer grown-ups the opportunity to enjoy an evening at the Museum on Saturday\, March 8th\, 6 pm – 9pm. \nThis 18+ event will feature access to all exhibits as well as food and entertainment options. Lee and Hailey Dean will lead a series of party games and Lee will also perform as the King of Rock ‘n; Roll\, Elvis himself! Purchase dinner at the event at The Wild Ramp’s pop-up – featuring finger  foods and delicious mocktails. \n“So many adults have expressed interest in enjoying the museum and we are thrilled to offer this opportunity for grown-ups to escape the day-to-day and revisit their childhoods\,” said Raine Klover\, Huntington Children’s Museum Executive Director. “In addition to our regular exhibits and entertainment provided by Lee and Hailey Dean we will also have large versions of many nostalgia-filled games such as  Connect 4 and Jenga.” \nTickets are $12 per person and tickets are limited. To purchase tickets in advance visit hcmkids.org/events. \nThe Huntington Children’s Museum is dedicated to fostering curiosity and learning through interactive exhibits designed to engage young minds. Featured exhibits include a water table\, interactive sand table\, indoor climbing area\, and stop-motion video creation station. These hands-on experiences encourage  children to explore and learn through play. Located at 1700 Washington Avenue\, Huntington\, the Museum is open Wednesdays 8 am – 1 pm and Thursdays through Sundays 10 am – 5 pm. Regular admission for children 2 and older and adults is $10 each. Admission for families that receive SNAP or WIC benefits is $2 each for children 2 and older and adults. DESCRIPTION:Attention artists!\nTri-State Arts Association (TSAA) would like to invite you to our Spring jury session! The date is Saturday\, March 15th\, 2025\, at the Huntington Museum of Art. We will meet in Studio 2 behind the museum (Drive around and past the open gate to the right of the museum parking lot). Drop off work at 9am and pick up at noon.\n\nSince 1953 the purpose of TSAA has been to foster the creation of art by encouraging local artists to produce\, improve and present their work to the public.\nJoin our talented members that create within the mediums of painting\, drawing\, glass\, mixed media\, glasswork\, pen and ink\, photography\, pottery\, printmaking\, sculpture\, fiber/textiles and woodcarving.\nBenefits include displaying and selling art at Art in the Park (Ritter Park in Huntington\, WV)\, discounts for local framing/printing\, inclusion within TSAA organized events and comradery with your fellow artists!\n\nJURYING INFORMATION\n• Must be 18 years of age and reside in West Virginia\, Ohio\, or Kentucky.• Submit five (5) pieces of your original work in one media for review by the jury committee along with a short artist statement and a $25 non-refundable jurying fee due when work is dropped off (check or cash\, checks made out to TSAA). Artists will drop off in Studio 3 behind the Huntington Museum of Art at 9am and come back to pick up at noon. Notifications will be mailed within the following week• Work must be presented in a professional manner: paintings framed\, works on paper matted and framed. Works in other media\, i.e. drawing\, glasswork\, pottery\, photography\, printmaking\, and sculpture should be suitably presented. All 2D art should have wires on the back for hanging. Work must be original! Work will be judged on originality; good use of design\, color\, value; unity; harmony; and craftsmanship.• We look forward to meeting new artists and seeing your work. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the first day of spring with Appalachian Reuse Hub (ARH) and Huntington Art Collective and Studios (HACkS) by doing some decluttering and gathering of items and materials you no longer want or need and bring them to West Edge to trade\, donate\, and swap!\nThis can be anything from clothes and books to smaller and bigger items alike. We will also be collecting materials for ARH to use in free community upcycling workshops – think arts and crafts materials that are good for creative reuse! We can always use these reusable materials\, such as paint\, brushes\, magazines\, ribbon\, etc. There will also be a collage station set up for your upcycling pleasure.

DESCRIPTION:HACkS and the Peanut Gallery are teaming up to raise money for the West Virginia Trans Coalition ! Kings in Bloom\, an ALL KINGS 👑 drag night the weekend of #transdayofvisibility March 29th at 7pm  will have a cast PACKED FULL of PHENOMENAL drag kings\, a raffle with something for everyone\, and a projector for a very immersive drag experience to showcase trans beauty. Stage kitten\, Quiver Moth\, will also have a tabletop cotton candy machine for anyone with a sweet tooth. 🕺💖🍬 \n$5 dollars show entry. Or the option of a 10$ entry as a donation to the coalition. All proceeds of the raffle will go to the WV Trans Coalition\nDoors open at 7!! Shows start a little after 8! \nNO ONE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS!! Water and seating provided!
