DESCRIPTION:2025 Downtown Huntington Art Walk \nThe Downtown Huntington Art Walk is back for Summer 2025! Join us on the third Friday of each month – June through August – from 5 to 8 p.m. for an evening of art\, music\, local vendors\, and community fun throughout the PODA district in Downtown Huntington\, West Virginia. \nEach Art Walk will feature visual artists\, craft vendors\, street performers\, and live entertainment\, creating a free\, all-ages event that highlights local creativity and encourages exploration of our downtown area and businesses! \nHere’s what’s coming up:\n• June 20 – West Virginia Day & First Day of Summer\nCelebrate the start of summer and West Virginia Day with themed vendors\, special performances\, and lots to explore. \n• July 18 – Christmas in July\nGet a head start on holiday shopping or discover new local makers. This evening will feature a strong focus on craft vendors and demonstrations. \n• August 15 – Chalk & Walk + Marshall Week of Welcome\nHelp us close out the season with our Second Annual Chalk & Walk\, where local artists will create chalk art murals. SUMMARY:HMA Block Party
DESCRIPTION:The Huntington Museum of Art will host its fourth annual “HMA Block Party” on Tuesday\, June 24\, 2025\, from 5 to 8 p.m. This event is part of the 4th Tuesday Tour Series at HMA. Admission to the event is free. \nThe HMA Block Party offers family fun and a chance to see what is currently on display in the art galleries and C. Fred Edwards Conservatory\, which features orchids and tropical and subtropical plants. \nIn addition\, HMA’s Education Department will offer a free bead art activity in the Education Gallery and a fun selfie station. Also\, Bubs on Wheels food truck and Lil Orbits Mini Donuts are scheduled to attend the event so that visitors can purchase refreshments. Mountwest Community & Technical College will have an informational table at the HMA Block Party as well. \nKevin Toney from Silver Run Ranch and their alpacas will be part of the event if weather permits. \nVendors with display tables in HMA’s Virginia Van Zandt Great Hall include Heather Barker of Kaleidoscope Crochet; Emily Stark of Emily’s Flameworked Glass Beads and Jewelry; Lindsay Emmite of Bashful Bee Press; Leslie Norris of Sugar Pop Press; Mateo Fuentes of Art.Monsters.Printmaking; Artworks by Marlee Kaiser of Guillotine Gifts; and art by Zane Pinson.
