DESCRIPTION:West Edge Factory is so excited to welcome everyone to join us at the Turret Gallery for ceramic artist Josh Perry’s first solo exhibition!\nJosh’s work uses clay\, sculpture\, and installation to explore how people are shaped by the systems around them—such as war\, belief\, disability\, and social expectations. His pieces reflect on harm and healing\, asking how we carry our past experiences and how change becomes possible. The work is grounded\, physical\, and honest\, inviting viewers to slow down and spend time with each object.\nAccessibility and adaptation are central to Perry’s practice\, influencing both how the work is made and how it is experienced. His art considers memory\, trauma\, and resilience without offering easy answers\, instead creating space for reflection and conversation.\nThe opening reception will be held Friday\, February 6 from 6–9 PM\, with the gallery open for viewing throughout the evening.\nThe event will also include a poetry reading from 6–7 PM and live music by Sam Eplin.\nLight refreshments will be provided.\nThis event is free and open to the public\, and all are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:The Huntington Museum of Art’s 2026 Museum Ball Presented by Marshall Health Network begins at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 and continues until 11 p.m. The theme for the event is “A Night in the Big Apple: Touring NYC.” \n“It’s almost time for HMA’s biggest fundraising event\,” said Jennifer Wheeler\, HMA Director of Development. “All the months of planning are coming together for the 2026 Museum Ball Presented by Marshall Health Network.” \nFood stations for the Museum Ball will be open beginning at 6 p.m.\, with appetizers by SIP Downtown Brasserie; entrees\, sides\, and salads by Cabell Huntington Hospital; and breads\, spreads\, and desserts by Nomada Bakery. \nMusical entertainment will be provided by Bravo Live DJ\, as well as Brad Goodall playing keyboard. \nHMA 2026 Museum Ball Hosts are Zach Baldwin & Emily Bartram Baldwin; Dr. David & Elaine Gozal; C. Donald Hatfield & Jacqueline Proctor; Dr. Nathan & Griffin Hatfield; and Scott & Shawnna Raynes. \nThe night will include a silent auction. DESCRIPTION:The Huntington Museum of Art will offer a scavenger hunt-style game with an animal theme on March 24\, 2026\, at 6 p.m. as part of the 4th Tuesday Tour Series. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.\n\n“This scavenger hunt-style event will appeal to people who enjoy interactive games by using clues to search the permanent galleries and C. Fred Edwards Conservatory for the answers\,” said HMA Director of Education Cindy Dearborn. “Families can compete together in this event. One of the participants who completes the scavenger hunt successfully will take home a gift certificate donated by the Museum Store.”\n\nThe 4th Tuesday Tour Series at HMA offers a guided tour\, a special speaker\, or other event on the fourth Tuesday of each month.\n\nHMA offers free general admission on Tuesdays when hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on membership or events at the Huntington Museum of Art\, visit hmoa.org or call (304) 529-2701.
