DESCRIPTION:Join us for the spring edition of our popular Night Market event! This fun evening event combines our regular book sale fundraiser with local vendors and organizations. Browse books\, crafts\, and more under the string lights. Weather permitting\, this event will utilize both indoor and outdoor space. Proceeds from book sales and vendor donations help support the Gallaher Village branch of the Cabell County Public Library.\nBook sales are cash only and will be priced at $1 each or $5 per bag. The book sale portion of the event will continue throughout the following week during regular business hours.\nIf you would like to have a vendor table\, please email us at gallaher@cabellcountylib.org. Nonprofits can table at no cost\, but we’ll be asking for a $10 cash donation the evening of the event from any for-profit businesses. All proceeds support the Gallaher Village Library.

DESCRIPTION:Wah-hoo! Get ready for an ooey\, gooey mess! Be prepared to dive in and get dirty. Activities include water\, foam\, paint\, bubbles\, mud\, and more. Wear old clothes and crocks or sandals. Bring a towel and change of clothes.\nMost of the activities will take place under canopies\, but you may want to bring sunscreen. This event takes place in HCM’s parking lot. In the event of inclement weather\, activities will be limited and may or may not take place indoors.\nAbout KidsFest\nKidsFest is a vibrant\, multi-day festival that brings together local businesses\, organizations\, and community members to celebrate children with a variety of family-friendly events. From June 8-14\, this week-long celebration will not only showcase existing community treasures but also create opportunities for new gems to emerge. KidsFest offers returning favorites such as the teddy bear clinic\, MessFest\, food tasting\, and cardboard boat race. Additionally\, 2026 will introduce many exciting new programs! KidsFest serves as a fundraiser for the Huntington Children’s Museum.\nPricing: Thanks to our sponsors\, DARCO\, United Bank\, and Nucor of West Virginia\, this event is free for children. Adult admission will be $10 per person. No charge for annual members.
