DESCRIPTION:Come spend an evening with the Visual Arts Center as we wrap up the 40th Annual Student Juried Exhibition\, juried by Huntington Museum of Art curator\, John Farley. The exhibition is on view in the Birke Art Gallery March 2 – March 26\, 2026. The closing reception will be held on March 26 at 6 PM. \nThe final night:\n– When: March 26 at 6 PM\n– Where: The Birke Art Gallery\n– What: Open galleries\, light snacks\, and an opportunity to meet the creative community. \nJuror Spotlight: This year’s juror is John Farley! After earning his BFA at Marshall University\, Farley returned as an adjunct professor and later served as Gallery Director. Today\, he curates at the Huntington Museum of Art\, bringing his journey full circle to guide the next generation of artists. \nAll Visual Arts Center galleries are free and open to everyone

SUMMARY:Calling ETs – The Search for Life Beyond Earth
DESCRIPTION:HMA will present a public astronomy talk on Tuesday\, April 28\, 2026\, at 6:30 p.m. when NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White presents “Calling ETs – The Search for Life Beyond Earth.” Admission to this 4th Tuesday Tour event is free. Light refreshments will be available at the event.\n\n\n“We enjoy when NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White brings an astronomy event to the Huntington Museum of Art\,” said Cindy Dearborn\, HMA Education Director. “This free and fun presentation is open to people of all ages.”\n\n\n\nThis project is supported with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts\, with approval of the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
