SUMMARY:Intro to Potter's Wheel: 6 Week Community Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Marshall University | School of Art & Design presents: Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel \nA hands-on workshop series in throwing\, trimming\, and glazing. No prior experience in clay necessary. Participants will learn to throw and alter forms in clay\, including bowls\, drinking cups\, and mugs. \nDay & Time: Wednesdays\, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. \nSession: 6 weeks | May 20 – June 24 \nLocation: Ceramics Studio\, Art Warehouse; 201 21st St\, Huntington\, WV \nInstructor: Courtney Chapman \nTuition & Materials: $225; includes 50 lbs of clay\, all glazes\, and apron. Shared community tools are available for use. \nEnrollment: 16 seats available; a minimum of 4 enrolled participants is required for this course to run. \nRegistration through Tuesday\, May 19 or until class is full.
