The WV Film Office and West Virginia Filmmakers Guild are joining with the Appalachian Film Festival to make this gathering a unique opportunity to connect with fellow filmmakers in the area\, exchange ideas\, and build our network.\n\nThis is not just for filmmakers! We are looking for real estate agents to help secure locations\, electricians\, carpenters\, drivers\, and yes\, actors interested in background work. It takes a village to make a film. For those that are curious\, you are more than welcome to attend.\n\nGUEST SPEAKERS\n* David Lavender from the WV Film Office – the latest updates on the WV film industry.\n*Tijah Baumgardner from the Marshall Film Program – for the aspiring filmmakers\, there’s a program available right here in your backyard!\n\nWe hope that all those in the area can stop by and say hello. You Charleston folks aren’t too far away and that goes for the Kentucky peeps as well.\nMake a weekend out of it! The Appalachian Film Festival will be active all day Saturday\, April 26\, at the Foundry Theatre. Catch some of the latest films out of WV and don’t forget to swing by our booth and say hey.
