But he’s not prepared for the rigorous local edicts\, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher\, who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. To the rockin’ rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score\, augmented with dynamic new songs\, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.

We started as a suicide hotline spearheaded by a group of churches in downtown Huntington. Today\, we are a standalone rape crisis center that served over 900 survivors of sexual violence\, sex trafficking\, and stalking in 2024 across six counties in southwestern West Virginia. \nWe invite you to ensure those in crisis are never alone by attending our fundraiser. On June 7 at 10:30am\, La Famiglia will cater a birthday party in the ballroom of Trinity Episcopal Church on 5th Ave in Huntington. Mimosas and a bagel bar await you – lox anyone? It will be a time of celebration and renewed commitment to our mission.
