Once\, these mountains were one landmass (Pangean mountain)\, now they are divided and located on different continents.\nIn this recital\, Dr. Alexander Lee\, Dr. Henning Vauth\, and Dr. Júlio Alves\, will perform music from different regions. The program will include Benjamin Britten’s Folksong arrangements (Scottish\, Ireland\, and England)\, Kenneth Frazelle’s Appalachian Folksong arrangements\, Johannes Brahms’s Folksong arrangements\, Heitor Villa-Lobos’s art songs\, and Moses Hogan’s Spiritual arrangements.\nThis program came from Dr. Lee’s desire to express our need for unity through troubling times.
