Dog friendly vendors\, homemade treats\, farmer’s market and special activities will be available each week. \n“Paws at Pullman” kicks off May 1st with the BARKer Farm\, a mobile exotic petting zoo out of Pedro\, Ohio. The BARKer Farm features crowd favorites like Daniel the Camel\, Yeti the Sloth\, Rufus the Monkey\, Barbie the Porcupine\, and many more. DESCRIPTION:Marshall University President Jerome A. Gilbert today announced the university’s spring 2021 commencement ceremony will be an in-person event on Saturday\, May 1\, at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium with pandemic health and safety precautions in place. \nThe ceremony will begin at 9 a.m.\, rain or shine\, although in the case of continuing thunderstorms\, Sunday\, May 2\, will serve as the alternate date.  To maintain appropriate social distancing\, each participating graduate will be provided with four (4) tickets for guests. Masks will be required for everyone in attendance. Graduating students also will be required to wear flat shoes to protect the football field turf. \nStudents planning to participate in the ceremony are asked to review graduation information with their individual academic colleges and to check with the registrar’s office for more information.  Additional information\, including ticket distribution\, cap and gown purchases\, etc.\, will be added to the site in the coming days.

SUMMARY:Cabell County Master Gardeners Perrenial Plant Swap and Yard Sale
DESCRIPTION:The Cabell County master Gardeners Association (CCMGA) is sponsoring our annual perriniel plant swap and sale in cooperation with the Cabell County Extension Office. \n\nMaster Gardener’s and participants dig up and divide perrienials from their own yards\, put them in labeled pots with garden or potting soil and then bring them to the event to trade for other plants.\nIt’s helpful for each pot to be labeled with the plant’s name and growing instructions. \nIn previous years\, most swaps occur in the first few hours\, so it’s best to arrive early.\nIf participants don’t have any plants to swap\, plants should be available for sale as well. \nAs an added bonus this year\, the CCMGA will be cleaning out our storage facility. We will be offering for sale tools\, books\, equipment and other goodies that we have acquired over the years.\nDon’t miss this opportunity to meet some Master Gardener’s and other plant enthusiasts.\nMasks are required and proper social distancing will be encouraged. We will have masks\, disenfectants and other health supplies for use courtesy of the City of Huntington.\nHot Dog’s and Soft Drinks will be available for purchase so come prepared to have a fun time.
