You will also have the opportunity to meet many of our trainees and hear about their first-hand experiences participating in our workforce development programs. Not only will you meet our trainees\, but you will have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and work alongside them in one of our workshop trainings hosted by one of Coalfield’s social enterprises/programs. Our agriculture program\, Refresh Appalachia\, will host a farm-to-table dinner with a majority of the food grown by our own trainees while the rest will be sourced from our farming partners across the region. Live music from Bek and the Starlight Revue will follow dinner. Ground-up gathering is sure to be a fun and exciting evening celebrating all the tremendous work that is happening in our region!

Visitors can expect a fun\, indoors Trick or Treat option that invites visitors in and out costume\, both young and old\, to take a stroll down memory lane with the Spectral Research and Investigations paranormal research team. \nThe Spectral Research and Investigations team\, one of a few local paranormal teams calls the Museum of Radio and Technology in the Harveytown area its home base of operations\, and the location and team recently appeared on the Global Ghost Hunt\, a first for the Tri-State region. \nThe event will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Friday\, October 27th at the Museum of Radio and Technology in Huntington. Easy access from the interstate and downtown Huntington is available\, with parking on premises and close by. There will be no cost for attendance\, but donations would be greatly appreciated.

DESCRIPTION:The legend continues! The centerpiece of the Ceredo-Kenova AutumnFest is the famous Pumpkin House\, which has become one of the favorite tourist attractions of West Virginia. In 1978\, the Pumpkin House began with only 5 pumpkins carved for a Halloween display. Since then\, the number of hand-carved pumpkins has grown to 3\,000. Each year Ceredo and Kenova welcome nearly 30\,000 visitors to the Pumpkin House. Over the years\, we have watched children that have visited the Pumpkin House grow to have children of their own that they now bring to see the display.
