DESCRIPTION:The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District will host its next Hike of the Month at Ritter Park on Saturday\, December 2. Meet at the Ritter Park Tennis Center\, hike starts at noon.\nJoin GHPRD Employee Keith Berry on a two mile hike where he will discuss the flora and fauna along the trails in Ritter Park. SUMMARY:PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour
DESCRIPTION:For two days\, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle the sport’s toughest bovine athletes. The thrilling 8-second rides and heart-stopping wrecks make the PBR’s Velocity Tour one of the most exciting live sporting events to see.\nEach rider will face one bull in Round 1 on Friday and again in Round 2 on Saturday\, with the Top 10 scoring riders moving on to Saturday’s championship round. At the end of the competition\, the rider with the highest combined score will be crowned the champion.\nHuntington will be the 3rd stop on the 2018 Velocity Tour\, which spans the country in cities including Fresno\, California; Portland\, Oregon; Dayton\, Ohio; Bangor\, Maine and Lexington\, Kentucky.\nThe 2018 Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30\, leading into the PBR’s 2018 Built Ford Tough World Finals. DESCRIPTION:Kenova will have their annual tree lighting ceremony on December 4th beginning at 7p.m.  The ceremony will begin at the Kenova United Methodist Church and will feature the C-K Alumni Band\, special vocal presentations\, and the reading of the names of loved ones who have passed away or whom someone wishes to recognize or honor.  Names for the Memorial can be submitted at Kenova City Hall.  A $5.00 donation is suggested for each name submitted.  All proceeds go to benefit the Kenova Beautification.
