DESCRIPTION:Madeline’s Christmas is the perfect holiday performance to bring your family to on December 15 – 16. “In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived 12 little girls in two straight lines.” So begins this delightful story of Madeline’s Christmas.\nThis musical\, with books and lyrics by Jennifer Kirkeby and music by Shirley Mier is based on the book by Ludwig Bemelmans. The production is made possible through special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing\, Inc.\nPrior to each performance of Madeline’s Christmas will be a special pre-show presented by the Paramount Arts Center Show Choir under the direction of Laura Ford Hall and the Hands On Music Sign Language Chorus under the direction of Sonya Newman.\nAdvance tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and final ticket price includes a $1 per ticket historic restoration fee. Tickets purchased the day of show are $2 more. SUMMARY:Honky Tonk Heroes Third Annual Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:In coordination with local charity Kids Need Christmas\, Honky Tonk Heroes raises funds that go directly to buying presents for local kids who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This project fills more than just toys under a tree. Well over half these kids NEED warm clothes\, new socks and underwear\, coats\, shoes\, gloves\, blankets etc. so this show has a lasting impact long after Christmas morning. It’s helping these kids sleep comfortably during winter nights and keeping them warm while waiting for the bus in January.\nThe project has helped over 100 children to date and last year raised around $5000 all told.
