DESCRIPTION:The Pilot Club of Huntington will hold its 71st Annual Antiques Show and Sale at the Mountain Health Arena Conference Center\, Third Avenue and Eighth Street\, Huntington\, WV on Friday\, August 15h\, 2025\, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Saturday\, August 16th\, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; and Sunday\, August 17th\, 11:00 am-4:00 pm.  Admission is six dollars per person which covers all three days.  Advance tickets may be purchased for five dollars by contacting a Pilot member or by calling one of the phone numbers listed below. The Show and Sale is made up of professional dealers from multiple states who offer a wide range of quality antiques\, midcentury modern\, art and collectibles at a wide range of prices. DESCRIPTION:The Hilltop Book Fair will take place on Saturday\, Aug. 16\, 2025\, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday\, Aug. 17\, 2025\, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Huntington Museum of Art. Hilltop Book Fair is a fundraiser for the Huntington Museum of Art. Admission is $5 on Saturday\, Aug. 16\, and free on Sunday\, Aug. 17.\nVolunteers and HMA staff members sort and arrange the used books by categories prior to the Hilltop Book Fair.\nBook prices on Saturday\, Aug. 16\, will be $1 for each children’s book; $2 for each paperback book; and $3 for each hardcover book. On Sunday\, Aug. 17\, from noon to 5 p.m. you can fill a box with books for $10. DESCRIPTION:It seems life got in the way and we got sidetracked with our Zonta efforts in Huntington. So we’re taking this opportunity to “re-introduce” Zonta to the community!\nWe hope you can join us for a special “Meet and Greet” event hosted by the Zonta Club of Huntington\, W.V. This casual gathering is an opportunity to learn more about our organization\, connect with inspiring individuals and discover how you can make a tangible impact in the community by building a better world for women and girls.\nThere are many issues facing women and girls from domestic violence to gender equality to climate injustice and more\, so we’ll be determining the areas of focus for our service and advocacy projects throughout the coming year.\nWe’re meeting on Sunday\, August 17th\, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.\nTia Fix Rumbaugh has graciously reserved the Huntington Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at 210 11th Street for our afternoon of fun. Light refreshments will be served.\nWe’ll be inviting the general community through social media and you’re welcome to bring friends and family members who are interested in learning more about Zonta’s work and our local efforts..
