Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite storybook characters and participate in a costume contest featuring dragons\, knights\, fairies\, wizards\, and literary legends of every kind. \nThroughout the evening\, families can explore a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity\, including: \n\nHands-on STEAM activities and magical experiments\nInteractive storytimes\nCraft vendors\n\nThe event celebrates the joy of storytelling while encouraging children to imagine\, create\, and explore through play. \nFableCon gives Huntington families a chance to unplug from screens and step into a shared world of storytelling\, creativity\, and hands-on exploration together. \n“Stories ignite imagination and help children see new possibilities\,” said Raine Klover\, Executive Director of the Huntington Children’s Museum. “FableCon is a chance for families to experience that magic together while exploring creativity\, curiosity\, and learning through play.” \nTickets are $15 per child\, and grownups attend free.
