SUMMARY:The Paramount Players Present 1984
DESCRIPTION:George Orwell’s Utopian society comes to life on stage at the Paramount. George Orwell stated\, “I do not believe that the kind of society I describe necessarily will arrive\, but I believe that something resembling it could arrive. The moral to be drawn from the dangerous nightmare situation is a simple one: Don’t let it happen. It depends on you.” Orwell depicts with great power the horrors of man’s fate in a society where Big Brother is always watching—where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. This theatrical event is both powerful and disturbingly provocative. 1984 is produced through special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.\nTickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults. For questions or more information please call 606.324.0007 or visit http://paramountartscenter.com

Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and samples of beer. We’ll also have live entertainment and food vendors on site. This is a small beer festival and ticket sales will be limited. Ticket sales end on February 1st.\nThe original location for the event has changed. We will now be inside the former Food Fair location at 115 6th Ave in Huntington.\nThe Wild & Wonderful Beer Fest is organized by the Better Beer Coalition (BBC)\, who also bring you the Rails & Ales Festival. Our mission is to promote a craft beer culture in WV and to improve access to craft beer by demonstrating the local demand to craft breweries and distributors.
