DESCRIPTION:Alchemy Theatre is happy to announce our first Theatre Intensive Workshop the week of June 19-23 from 1-4pm daily. \nStudents can expect to learn history from the time of Shakespeare and Commedia dell’Arte to modern scene work with partners. Learn how to choose an appropriate monologue\, enact good theatre etiquette\, and express physicality with classic poetry. Their efforts will culminate in a showcase on June 24th. The teachers for our intensive include Jocelyn Jasko (Little Women) and Jacob Smith\, teaching theatre director at Spring Valley High School.

Set in 1995\, this novel\, the first of a four-part series published by The Henlo Press\, combines Nancy Drew detective elements with the television show\, Ghost Hunters for a fun adventure that will appeal to a wide age range. \nTobi Doyle has over a dozen published romance books. She writes HEAs with heat and humor\, romantic suspense\, and cozy mysteries. She’s Romance Writers of America’s 2022 PRO Mentor of the Year as well as the past President of RWA’s Kiss of Death Chapter. Admission to the event is free.\nThe event will focus on three-dimensional works of art including performance art. Scattered throughout the museum visitors will encounter interactive living statues of notable artists. HMA neighbor Studio 8 will join the event and offer a mala-making activity and guided meditation in the Virginia Cavendish Courtyard. The Education Department will offer a 3-dimensional craft opportunity in the Education Gallery. Two food trucks – The Viper Wood Fired Oven Pizza and Bite Mi – are scheduled to attend so visitors can purchase something to eat at the event.\nVendors will set up in the Virginia Van Zandt Great Hall.
