DESCRIPTION:Robert’s was selected as one of only 39 running stores in the country to participate in the Great American Running Shops campaign to celebrate small shops all over the US in July. This gets us (and you all) a bunch of cool stuff.. fun programs\, gifts w/ purchase\, etc. More about this later… One of the cool things is to be part of a nationwide Cleanup event!\nOur Downtown Trash Dash on Global Running Day was such a hit\, we are going to do it again\, but on a bigger scale! This time we are partnering up with Saucony and Keep America Beautiful to clean up the sidewalks we run on every day. If you missed last time\, here’s how it will work:\n.. show up at 6pm\n..you’ll select a location from a list (Ex: Marshall campus\, 4th Ave.\, 8th St. towards Ritter Park.)\n..go out as individuals or teams to clean up as much trash as you can!\n..we will provide gloves and bags\n..most garbage wins a prize!\n..but we will all be winners because the streets of Huntington will be a prettier\, cleaner place to run!\nWe will have snacks and drinks. You may walk or run (or skip!.. whatever you please). There is no set route\, just chosen locations to clean up. You can choose a close location or one that offers a longer route. Questions?
