This Graphic Novel tells the story of four Black friends in the Bronx, Kim, Tanisha, Davene, and Cookie, through five connected short stories that explore their lives, relationships, and the importance of their hair routines, particularly wash day. The book is a celebration of Black women’s beauty, friendship, and resilience.
