Join the Marshall University School of Art & Design for its annual Empty Bowls event benefitting Facing Hunger Food Bank.
The sale will take place at Pullman Square in Huntington, WV on Friday, May 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Empty Bowls is a worldwide grassroots movement where ceramic artists create handcrafted bowls to raise funds to fight hunger. For more than two decades, Marshall art students, faculty, and area potters have crafted one-of-a-kind bowls to support Facing Hunger’s mission.
Each bowl is $20, and every bowl purchased helps provide 180 meals to neighbors across 17 counties in the Tri-State.
Community members are invited to make a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger while adding a handmade bowl (or two) to their home.
