The Red Caboose
Over 40 years ago an old B & O Railroad Station became the home of a famed local restaurant and several small businesses called Heritage Station. For many years things were very quiet on the corner of 11th Street and Veterans Memorial Boulevard until this historic little railroad complex was reimagined and is now a thriving artisan center and downtown Huntington’s all-in-one “food, fun and shopping destination.”
The Huntington Area Convention & Visitors Bureau anchors Heritage Station from the original train depot building which features The Red Caboose Regional Artisan Center. An iconic staple in downtown Huntington, The Red Caboose is a can’t-miss stop for both locals and visitors. Filled with locally produced ceramics, Blenko glass, fine art, bath products, jewelry, artisan foods, and work from local authors – The Red Caboose has a little something for everyone.
Whether you are looking for a locally made gift or a WV-themed souvenir, The Red Caboose is the perfect spot to pick up a piece of West Virginia for your family, friends or even yourself!
The Red Caboose is also located in Visitors Center – stop by for a free visitors guide or for help planning your day in H-town.
