Tyson Compton | President | tyson@visithuntingtonwv.org
Tyson has served as President of the Cabell-Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau since February 2009. Tyson came to Huntington from the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky where he was marketing director for fourteen years. Prior to that he lived in Los Angeles where he was Marketing Director for a magazine publishing group.
A freelance writer for twenty years, he was also editor of Where-Los Angeles, an LA travel guide. Also while in Los Angeles, Tyson sold a motion picture screenplay and wrote an episode each for the television series “Murphy Brown” and “Just Shoot Me.” In the late 90s, Tyson hosted a cable series that took a look at the entertainment world behind the scenes.
Born and raised in Louisa, Kentucky, Tyson has fond memories of visiting here in his youth, and loves the opportunity to promote this exceptional city.

A native of Ceredo-Kenova, Anna Adkins now calls Huntington home. She has been with the Huntington Area Convention & Visitors Bureau since 2013. She started as the Visitors Center Supervisor and was promoted to Sales Manager in less than a year. She graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
She is a member of the Women’s Caucus of Leadership, Women’s Impact Network, and Huntington Young Professionals. She also serves as an Ambassador for the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, on the board of directors for Generation West Virginia, and on the Community Impact Committee of the United Way of the River Cities. She is passionately invested in improving her community and sharing the positive narrative experienced by so many proud West Virginians.
Brandy Jefferys | Manager, The Red Caboose and Visitors Center | brandy@visithuntingtonwv.org
Brandy Jefferys is a fine art artist and newly minted Manager of The Red Caboose and the Visitors Center. Born in the Poconos but raised in the Ohio River Valley, she grew up just across the river in Kitts Hill, Ohio. She’s been with The Red Caboose/CVB since April 2021 but has been an artisan in the Caboose since 2016. Her hobbies include traveling, exploring nature, trying new restaurants & food, and learning about history. If you’re looking for her during her free time, you’ll most likely find her on the couch with her spouse and 2 cats watching pro-wrestling.

Reckless writer prone to mad, violent dashes through reality.
Sheila Redling is the author of more than a half dozen novels, including the best-selling thrillers, FLOWERTOWN, and THE WIDOW FILE. A former morning radio host and avid traveler, Sheila is also a language geek, wine enthusiast, and a so-so gardener. She currently lives in her home state of West Virginia with a wide array of wildlife.

Julia Pritt is a born and raised West Virginian, currently obtaining a BA in Art with minors in creative writing and psychology at Marshall University. After undergrad, she plans to pursue a masters in Arts Therapy and utilize what she’s learned to help better her community through art and healing. Her artwork can be found at the Red Caboose. During free time Julia can be found tending to her garden or reading in a hammock.

William Kittinger is a native West Virginian who enjoys hiking, gaming with his friends, and cuddling cats.

Sarah graduated from Marshall University with a BFA in Painting. Originally from Beckley, West Virginia, she grew up with a strong connection to farm animals and that is who her painting practice focuses on. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, roller skating, and spending time with her two cats, Leslie and Tofu.
