Huntington Museum of Art Hiking Trails

HMoA's property includes more than 40 acres of hillside that is retained in its natural woodland state. This is where you'll find our nature trail - a well-marked, maintained trail system approximately one mile in length and composed of 6 trails including the Teubert Foundation Sensory Trail just beyond the Steelman Butterfly Garden. The trail has a variety of inclines, from nearly flat to gently slopping to steep with Earl Gray rock carvings throughout. If you are part of an organization, our trained nature docent volunteers will lead your group on active, informative trail tours. Nature trail tours last approximately 90 minutes, and are available throughout the year, weather permitting.
