WV Makes Festival

The Makes Festival is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and ingenuity, highlighting the vibrant maker culture that brings together science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM.)

Our goal is to offer a platform so artists, engineers, innovators and students of all ages can showcase their talents through interactive experiences, exhibits and friendly competitions

Showcase Your Talents: Whether you’re an artist, engineer, inventor or student, simply bring your projects or creations to share in a supportive and inspiring environment. Enter our Design Challenge to compete for cash and other prizes!

Offer Hands-On Making Activities: Engage withthe community, including K-12 and college students, by reserving a booth to display your offerings or facilitate an interactive activity for attendees.

Engage in Hands-On Learning: Dive into the world of STEAM with interactive exhibits and demonstrations that showcase the latest in technology and creativity.

Network with Innovators: Connect with makers and entrepreneurs as well as hobbyists and professionals who are at the forefront of shaping the future of technology and the arts

Enjoy Live Music: Take in the sounds of local feel-good sensations Corduroy Brown and Josh Abbott, who will perform live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
