HMAF 72 Hour Film Challenge Screenings

August 29, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Huntington Music and Arts Festival is hosting a 72 Hour Film Challenge at 4th Ave Arts August 29th from 6-8pm.
Over 25 teams registered for a mad scramble of a film sprint to produce original short films between Thursday and Sunday. At this event, we’re screening the results.
An evening celebrating the skill, creativity, and passion of local filmmakers. The 72 Hour Film Challenge is something you absolutely must see, hear, and feel to believe.
Hosted by Ian Nolte and Josh McComas, the screening will be judged by special guest Walter Squire, director of Film Studies at Marshall University.
While most films will be suitable for a general audience, some may feature violence and language. It is difficult to tell because the movies won’t exist until we are screening them. That’s the exciting part.
The Huntington Music and Arts Festival is a week of art, music, and culture events around the City of Huntington culminating in eleven hours of continuous music at the Ritter Park Amphitheater. For a full schedule of events please visit hmafestival.com.
