Appalachian Farm Fest

The Appalachian Farm Fest brings together WV farmers, food producers, and people skilled in that traditional farming methods of the region for a day of fun and learning. Come meet your local farmers and learn more about heritage food and farm traditions of the area!
The festival will:
1. Share knowledge and skills of farming traditions such as heirloom seeds and seed saving, beekeeping, maple syrup and sorghum production, corn harvest and processing, and others!
2. We will have a small farmers market for Appalachian farmers to sell their products.
3. The day will wrap up with a Down on the Farm Dinner, in conjunction with Down Home Salads. (Tickets sold separately)
As one of our trademark Way Back Weekends, this event will also include our museums, artisans, blacksmith, wagon rides, petting zoo, kids’ activities, food, fun, and much more!
You do not need to register in advance to attend. Normal admission price is $12 adults, $10 seniors, $8 children 3-17. Parking is free and is located in the field inside our main gate.
