Archaeology Day

The Wild Ramp has teamed with the WV Council for Archaeology, Bob Maslowski of Mud River Produce, and some fine folks from Marshall University to bring you Archaeology Day! Archaeologist Nick Freidin will be displaying several ancient artifacts, Native American flute maker Rick Rivard will be displaying his craft, Archaeologist Jamie Meece will be displaying several native artifacts including spent projectiles & arrowheads, Bob Walden will be doing a demonstration on flint knapping and author Darla Spencer will be available to sign her new book, “Woodland Mounds in West Virginia”.
There will be food sampling including various native nuts, Jerusalem Artichokes, Chenopodium(Goosefoot) and Amaranth.
