Ayurveda Cooking Basics – with Gina Smith

Join Gina Hart-Smith ERYT200, and Certified Ayurvedic Health Coach for this very special cooking class at the Wild Ramp.
The ancient science of Ayurveda teaches us to live in harmony with the laws of nature, that like increases like, and opposites create balance. It teaches us to eat foods that are organic, seasonal, and local. What a better place than the Wild Ramp to explore this science.
During the workshop we will:
Learn the 5 Elements and the Doshic theory of body constitutuon.
Learn about the 6 Tastes.
Learn to make and taste Kitchari (a traditional Indian meal that is easily digested, a protien rich meal that can feed an entire family for around $5.)
Meet others interested and enthusiastic about the science of Ayurveda.
There will be a $10 fee for this class.
