Fittingly, at that former train station, Withers, who has authored some 14 books, will be inside the Red Caboose gift shop at Heritage Station where he will be earning his birthday money by autographing copies of his updated edition of his 445-page coffee table book, “The President Travels by Train: Politics and Pullmans” that takes a comprehensive look at presidential train trips to politicking and while in office.
Withers will be signing books from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10 inside the Red Caboose, which is located at Heritage Station. Copies of the book (published by Echo Point Books and Media, Inc.). The cost will be $38.95 plus 7 % sales tax.
