Build It Hands-on! – Hydraulic Arm

Learn the basic mechanics of hydraulics by assembling and operating this hydraulic gripper arm. Not only will you learn to design this robot arm, you’ll cut it on the X Carve in our Maker Vault!
All materials and instructions are provided, and we’ll guide you through the assembly process. We might even have a friendly competition to test your skills with your new robotic arm!
No experience or expertise required. Kids of all ages are welcome, but those under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost is $18 per person. Parent participation is free when you work with your child on his/her project.
