From the artist, Phyllis Wilcox:
“From the time I was a small child I have had visions, as I’m going to sleep, of lines and shapes mingling among each other. Sometimes they are boxy shapes interlocking, or they might be blobs of color gently floating together like clouds. Bold lines may interlace with delicate strings or mechanical chunks of steel may bang with force into each other.

Over the past year or so I have been putting these images onto canvas using acrylic paints, paper, found objects and glue. It has brought me great satisfaction to finally share some of my freeflowing images. Maybe you,
too, go to sleep with lines and shapes dancing in your mind’s eye, and you’ll find something familiar in my art.”
