FableCon at HCM
March 20 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Huntington Children’s Museum invites families to step into a world of imagination during FableCon 2026, a magical evening celebrating storytelling from around the world, creativity, and hands-on discovery. The event will take place Friday, March 20 from 5–8 PM at the Huntington Children’s Museum, located at 1700 Washington Avenue in Huntington.
FableCon will transform the Museum into an enchanted space where stories come to life. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite storybook characters and participate in a costume contest featuring dragons, knights, fairies, wizards, and literary legends of every kind.
Throughout the evening, families can explore a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, including:
- Hands-on STEAM activities and magical experiments
- Interactive storytimes
- Craft vendors
The event celebrates the joy of storytelling while encouraging children to imagine, create, and explore through play.
FableCon gives Huntington families a chance to unplug from screens and step into a shared world of storytelling, creativity, and hands-on exploration together.
“Stories ignite imagination and help children see new possibilities,” said Raine Klover, Executive Director of the Huntington Children’s Museum. “FableCon is a chance for families to experience that magic together while exploring creativity, curiosity, and learning through play.”
Tickets are $15 per child, and grownups attend free. Tickets can be purchased online at givebutter.com/fablecon2026.
