Fire Prevention Parade

Due to weather, the 66th annual Huntington Fire Prevention Parade has been rescheduled for this Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
Typically held on the first Monday of the first full week of October the Huntington Fire Prevention Parade is a a civic tradition or fire prevention and awareness. The theme this year is, Not Every Hero Wears a Cape, Plan and Practice Your Escape” to promote the importance of households developing and practicing a home fire escape plan.
The parade will begin at 7 p.m. at 12th Street and 4th Avenue and proceed west on 4th Avenue to 8th Street.
