Hard Hats & Heroes!

The Junior League of Huntington presents its fifth annual Hard Hats and Heroes event (formerly known as Touch-a-Truck) Sat., April 28, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Center for Education.
Hard Hats and Heroes provides a unique opportunity for children of all ages to explore vehicles such as a fire truck, police car and helicopter, among others. Participants are encouraged to touch their favorite vehicles, get behind the wheels and meet the people who help to build, protect and serve our community. Inflatables, food, drinks and other activities will also be available at this family-friendly event. There will also be a special horn-free hour from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. for children who are sensitive to loud sounds.
