Huntington Blues Challenge

The Huntington Blues Society will host their Fifth Annual Huntington Blues Challenge Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 1-8 p.m. at Heritage Station.
During this special day of blues music and friendly competition, nine local blues acts compete for an Affiliate Sponsorship and the chance to represent the Tri-State area in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Huntington Blues Challenge is part of the weekend-long celebration and tribute to the Queen of Blues, Diamond Teeth Mary McLain, who hopped a train from Heritage Station in 1915 to follow her dream and seek her fortune singing the blues. The Huntington Blues challenge will allow yet another talented musician to follow in her famous footsteps and launch their own blues career!
Ice cold beer and soft drinks will be available throughout the event and food can be purchased from local food vendors.
