A South Carolina native, Turner is a GMA Dove Award winner, recipient of the Order of the Palmetto, and an inductee into the South Carolina Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame. He released his first Greatest Hits album in 2023 and continues touring nationwide while supporting arts education through The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund for the Arts.
