Kids to Parks Day

FreeOn May 21, 2022, join over one million people at hundreds of national, state, and local parks, and public lands across the country taking part in the Annual National Park Trust Kids to Parks Day (KTP Day). KTP Day is a nationally coordinated day designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks. By coordinating a wide array of park activities on a single day, Kids to Parks Day attracts new park goers and helps connect existing park enthusiasts with local organizations in the hopes of creating park advocates and stewards.
The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District will partner with New Heights Church and River Valley Church to host a Kids to Parks Day event at April Dawn Park on Saturday, May 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’ll have inflatables, yard games, inclusive sensory activities, hot dogs, and a dunking booth! This event is free and fun for all ages!
So get out and celebrate this national day of outdoor play with your friends at the Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District!
