Join us for a festive day of holiday fun and shopping at our first-ever “Light Up Central City” event, held on Small Business Saturday, November 30th, 2024! From 12 PM to 7 PM, explore the holiday activities along 14th Street West, where you can find everything from antiques and food to art and history. It’s the perfect time to #ShopSmall and support our Central City community this holiday season! In addition to #SupportingLocal, bring your family and friends for all the fun planned for the day!
Holiday Scavenger Hunt Kick Off: Search for hidden holiday treasures at participating shops all December long! Answer all the questions and be entered into a drawing for a prize! (More details and link to the scavenger hunt will be posted soon.)
Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances by Lee Dean as Frank Sinatra and Elvis, Jason Jobe, and the Huntington Harmonica Club Band at the Central City Gazebo Park, beginning at noon.
Photos with Santa & Frosty: Capture the magic of the season with Santa and Frosty the Snowman! Family photos are welcome and encouraged!
Free Hot Cocoa: Warm up with a cup of complimentary hot cocoa while you stroll the neighborhood.
Chicken Noodle Soup with Knead Noodles: Support our local food vendor and stay warm with a hot bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup!
At 6 PM, gather around the Central City Gazebo as we unveil our brand-new holiday decor with the Old Central City Association and the City of Huntington! Watch as the park is lit up in a dazzling display, bringing the heart of Central City to life in a shimmering winter wonderland.
