Local is Growing – Farm to Table Dinner

Local keeps growing! As the area’s only indoor, year-round, nonprofit farmers market, The Wild Ramp continues to further our mission of expanding and supporting the local food economy by working with regional farmers, food producers and artisans to sell their products. In fact, 80 percent of every sale goes back to our local vendors.
This year, we secured a grant from the USDA and a grant from the Healthy Food Financing Initiative to create an online food hub (located across from our market on 14th St. W) that will offer curbside pick-up for customers and a delivery program that will further increase access to fresh, local food.
We continue to participate in the SNAP Stretch program, which allows families in need to stretch their food budget with a dollar-for-dollar match to buy fresh produce from participating farmers markets. We want everyone in our community to reap the benefits of eating fresh, local food while supporting our local farmers.
Our 2021 Farm to Table Dinner was a huge success thanks to generous sponsors and ticket holders. This year’s event, scheduled for October 8, will feature a locally sourced menu made by our Harvest Kitchen Chef and musical entertainment. As The Wild Ramp’s main fundraiser of the year, the Farm to Table Dinner celebrates local farmers and artisans and our community.
