The Annual Marshall Rec Urban Disc Golf Championship is back for 2026 and we are aiming to make this one bigger and better than ever!
Join us for an action-packed day of disc golf on Saturday, March 28th, featuring a course set across the scenic Marshall campus and athletic facilities. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, this exciting tournament promises two rounds of friendly competition with plenty of fun and camaraderie.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Marshall Recreation Center and Jonathan Wright from Maddog Disc Shop, combining local expertise and a passion for the sport. But it’s more than just a game—your participation directly benefits the Recreation Center Student Development Fund, which supports the growth and professional development of our student staff. This vital fund helps provide cash scholarships and offers financial assistance for leadership opportunities, conference attendance, and career development, both within Campus Rec and beyond. Through these opportunities, we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
All participants will receive an exclusive player’s pack, including a custom Marshall themed disc, event t-shirt, and additional items from sponsors. Be sure to sign up by midnight on March 20th to guarantee your t-shirt!
$45 Tournament Cost
– $11 Players Pack
– $4 Tournament Exp
– $15 Charity
– $15 Payout
The top 30% of each division will be paid out. All division will be paid out in gift cards through Maddog Disc Shop. All youth and female participants will receive a payout in their division.
In addition, each participant will get 3 throws at the famous “POOL SHOT” inside the aquatic center at Marshall University. If ace is hit, there will be a gift card or prize given away
We have requested that each participant include their UDisc username or email at time of registration. The scoring will be kept day of with UDisc.
