Meet the Maker Series: Tim Watson and Chris Wood of NATIVE EATS Hot Sauce

FreeThe Goods is launching our Meet The Makers series with someone who has been with us from Day 1. Tim Watson and Chris Wood are the minds behind WV’s favorite hot sauce Native Eats. Their sauce is in every state park gift shop across West Virginia. They are inspired by the native peoples of America.
Wojapi- A fruity, sweet heat that pairs great with anything. Based on the hunting snack of the same name. Wojapi will leave you happily surprised with the dueling tones of hot and fruity.
Classic Hot- Made using the same respect for the Cayenne pepper that the Cherokee have, the Classic Hot is your go to everyday hot sauce. It’s great on Sandwiches, eggs, pizza, etc. This is your favorite college dorm hot sauce but all grown up.
Uktena- Named after the mythical beast of native folklore this isn’t your dad’s hot sauce. Uktena is an intense heat without the burn. I true flavor enhancer, it starts off hot and runs back to the tip of your tongue with a vengeful heat. It’s the one you toss smoked chicken wings in and become the hit of the block party. A true hot sauce if there ever was one.
