Old Fashion Apple Butter Making Day

FreeJoin Saint Peter’s Episcopal for our annual old fashion apple butter making day. This is an all day event, but all day attendance is not required or recommended unless you’re that full of energy!!
Breakfast is served for the early risers that make it out early to build the fire and get the kettles started.
For those of us that don’t like getting up when the rooster crows, feel free to come out and take turns stirring with the big paddle! Lots of volunteers are needed for this job! We all take turns cause quite frankly, walking around the pot gets boring.
Once the apple butter master (Will) deems that the apple butter is done, the canning begins and it’s all hands on deck. We have to get it all put into jars and the mess cleaned up. By this time, we are all exhausted and ready to go home and kick up our tired piggies.

The apple butter will be available for purchase. We will take orders the day of and pick up will begin the day after.
