Open Mic Reading Night at Cicada Books

Cicada Books is happy to host an open mic reading on the final Monday of every month!
This is a unique opportunity for both writers and readers to share work. Writers: at these events, you may sign up to share original work in a comfortable and informal environment. Readers: at the end of each event, we ask you to share some of your favorite poems or short works with us as well.
Sign ups for this event will begin at 6:30 PM. Each author will be given about five minutes to read, so please plan accordingly. We will be giving time on a first come, first served basis.
After the reading, there will be time to sit down and discuss/workshop with other writers in the area in our meeting room.
Our coffee bar will be open for this event!
