Playing Outside the Lines: An Exchange of Musical Culture

The Marshall University Symphony Orchestra celebrates the beginning of the new concert season with a program of music that crosses lines between Western cultures.
Hear music from French composer Georges Bizet’s “Spanish” opera, Carmen, a symphony (No. 2) by Italian-American neo-Romantic composer Vittorio Giannini, and Edward Elgar’s British take on the Bavarian Highlands of Germany.
