Safety Town Trick or Treat

The City of Huntington will mark the return of its annual Safe Trick or Treat at Safety Town later this month.

The event, which is free and open to the public will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Safety Town, 1450 Memorial Blvd.

Organizations or businesses that want to be a vendor at or sponsor the event should call 304-696-5540, Extension 2065, or by emailing Vanessa Hankins at hankinsv@huntingtonwv.gov.

The Huntington Police and Fire departments also are accepting sealed bags of candy for the event. Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Police Department, 675 10th St., or Centennial Fire Station, 839 7th Ave.

In the event of rain on October 28, the event will be rescheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4.
