Summer Festival (With Homemade Ice Cream Social)

We’re celebrating America all July long, and it starts with our Summer Festival on July 7th! This tribute to America features one of our nation’s oldest traditions – the Ice-Cream Social!
Enjoy our special recipe homemade vanilla ice cream for sale in the village, as well a host of special activities!
We’ll have a special presentation by the local Daughters of the American Revolution of historic American flags at 11:30 and 1:30.
Stony Point String Band will be here and letting kids interact with a host of traditional instruments.
We’ll also be firing off our blacksmith’s cannon at noon!
As one of our trademark Way Back Weekends, this event will also include our museums, artisans, blacksmith, wagon rides, petting zoo, kids activites, food, fun, and much more!
You do not need to register in advance to attend. Normal admission price is $12 adults, $10 seniors, $8 children 3-17. Parking is free and is located in the field inside our main gate.
